Position Summary |
The Next Steps Adult Education Program of The University of New Mexico-Valencia is seeking candidates for an English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor. This position will provide English language lessons to students from different backgrounds and cultures. The ESL instructor will be responsible for planning lessons and activities, adopting a creative approach, and encouraging and motivating students to learn. The successful candidate will be able to create an environment that is conducive to learning and will encourage students to interact with each other to improve their English-speaking skills. Responsibilities:
Minimum qualifications are Bachelor's with three years directly related experience. This is a continuous recruitment pool, and applicants will be reviewed as needed. This position is grant funded with renewal dependent on available funding. See the Position Description for additional information. |
