POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of Registered Nurse, the Nurse extern provides direct patient care and related support, including routine patient education and counseling, and selected outreach services in accordance with licensed independent practitioner and in conformance with approved patient care standards.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Completed first semester of accredited nursing program for BSN or ADN and enrolled in an accredited nursing school.
- GPA of 3.2 or greater highly preferred (transcript required)
- Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certificate.
- Maintain current BLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
