OB Tech - FT

The OB Surgical Technician provides patients with quality care during the surgical experience. The Technician is a member of the interdisciplinary team along with the RN, Surgeon, and Anesthesia Staff. The Technician directly works with the Surgeon to provide instrumentation, supplies and equipment for the surgical procedure. The OB Tech is responsible to assist the nurses with front desk responsibilities and being present for all deliveries.

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Recommended: Surgical Technician Program graduate

Experience:

Preferred: Surgical Technologist/Technician experience in a medical or hospital setting

Licenses/Certificates:

Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - Due by COB on the last day of the month after one (1) full month of work.
Preferred: Certificate from Surgical Training Program
