Ocean / Air Import and Export Agent

Prepare all necessary shipping documentation to ensure proper and legal transport of goods and services both internationally and domestically.

Timely and efficiently handle routine Import and Export shipments; Handle non-routine, sophisticated, and complex shipping transactions for high-profile customers.

Process flow & look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

Perform specific and assigned operations and administrative tasks in order to provide high-quality customer service while meeting the Companys goals.

Meet compliance at all times in accordance with government regulations.

Communicate effectively with internal departments, other regional branches and offices, and all external contacts.

Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail and follow-up.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications, customer service, and teamwork skills, with a professional, positive, and motivating demeanor.

Ability to understand, develop and maintain multi-cultural relationships.

Patience - able to deal with complex processes that may involve multiple levels of approval.

Strong computer skills (AS-400, Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes)
