As an Office Coordinator for Taylor Morrison you will provide excellent customer service and be responsible for all office administrative related tasks.

We trust that as an Office Coordinator you will: (responsibilities)

  • Maintenance of office, supplies, office-related equipment, and vendors
  • Maintenance of breakroom, including kitchen restocking and ordering of snacks/drinks
  • Be responsible for retrieving, sorting and distribution of mail
  • Point of contact for team members and managers at the division to assist with HR-related functions to include recruiting, onboarding, exit processing, HR system administration and miscellaneous other services connecting team members to appropriate Corporate HR personnel
  • Provide support to the Division President, Land , Sales and Marketing, Construction, Finance and Purchasing to include but not limited to: coordinating meetings, arranging travel, deliveries, preparation of meeting materials and maintaining calendars
  • Coordinate all company events, divisionlunches and functional meetings to include presentation development, contracts, set up and clean up independent of assistance
  • Facilitate communication and awareness of Company and Division-wide initiatives, events and programs to include employee recognition programs
  • Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Answer the main phone line as needed and route calls accordingly
  • Maintain employee and department directories
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:

  • 2 years of work-related experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationship and maintain confidentiality
  • Intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in corporate environment and dealing with various levels of management and external contacts
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Prior experience in office administration and/or executive assistance preferred
  • Prior experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience in homebuilding industry preferred

FLSA Status: Non Exempt

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level managers
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
