Position Summary

The University of New Mexico College of Nursing invites exceptional candidates to apply for a faculty position. The primary focus of the position is to teach content in the Family Nurse Practitioner concentration and Doctor of Nursing Practice courses. Responsibilities include clinical practice, clinical supervision, teaching, and scholarship/service.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or equivalent scope.
  • MSN
  • Ongoing experience in clinical practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD or DNP degree or current enrollment in a doctoral program
  • Graduate level teaching
  • Precepting experience
  • Simulation education experience
  • Experience in online teaching
