Optical Retail Associate - Vail

Eye Pieces of Vail is looking for a detail-oriented, personable, and self-motivated individual that is eager to explore a new career path. The position allows employees to learn a new set of skills that they can carry forward into a lifelong, successful career in business, retail, and the optical industry. The position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greet customers upon entering the store and assist in the selection of eyeglass frames, sunglasses, goggles and helmets
• Dispense eyeglasses and ensure proper fit and alignment of eyewear
• Instruct customers in adapting to, wearing, and caring for their eyeglasses
• Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings and frames to suit customer needs
• Maintain displays/frame boards
• General clerical duties
• This position requires a lot of teamwork and provides a great opportunity to in a growing and successful company.

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time & Part Time, Seasonal positions available

Pay Rate: $18-25 / hour + $2- $4 / hour commission

• Excellent customer service skills
