Major/Essential Functions

• Must have a deep understanding and acceptance of customer-centered service.
• Must be able to supervise others to maintain a standard of professionalism across both locations of our optical shops.
• Poses strong written and verbal skills and be able to fully understand our local customer base with regard to what they want and expect to see in our stores.
• Maintain inventory of eyewear, accessories, and supplies.
• Order revenue and patient contact lenses.
• Files Insurance Claims for both locations for Medicare and for TTEC vision plans.
• Monitor sales volumes for both locations and make adjustments in pricing and offerings accordingly.
• Verify in-coming stock and check the quality of new products.
• Dispense contact lenses.
• Work with Payor Relations to establish insurance/vision plan enrollment and eligibility.
• Verify patient lenses match the prescription written.
• Certified optician by the American Board of Opticianry (ABOC).

Four years of directly related experience, with two of those under the direct supervision of a Certified Optician. ABO Certification, NCLE Certification; Bilingual (Spanish/English)
