FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; varies as scheduled. Call required with 30 minute call response time.
Job Summary:
Assists in the care and treatment of patients consistent with training and scope of certification and/or licensure. Employees primary responsibility will be supporting the Operating room ensuring the efficient and
safe flow of the unit. This position will be the primary point in assisting with patient scheduling, answering phones, patient transfers, and positioning. This position will also assist with room turnovers, pulling
needed supplies for upcoming surgical cases, assisting in Central supply and the cleaning of surgical instrumentation.
Preferred:
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous OR experience.
Licensure & Certifications Requirements
Graduate of medical assistant program or CNA training program.
