OrthoArizona - Hand & Upper Extremity Medical Assistant
Job Description
OrthoArizona is looking for a qualified Medical Assistant who demonstrates an outstanding personality and great patient service skills to assist in our growing medical practice. Candidate should have exceptional organizational sills, attention to detail, be able to multi-task, display flexibility and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Hand and upper extremity experience of 2 years required.
This is a full-time position Monday - Friday

- Remains calm in high pressure situations
- Produces work in high quality and quantity
- Problem solves with creativity and ingenuity
- Use of multi-line telephones and office machines
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Additional Skills/Requirements:
- M.A. Certification with AAMA, RMA or other certifying agency or equal experience
- EMR use and computer skills
Education:
- Graduation from a medical assisting program (preferred)
Preferred:
- Healthcare information systems - GE Centricity
- Orthopedics experience
- Casting & splinting experience
