Job Description
Foot and Ankle Practice looking for a positive and motivated Nurse Practitioner to round and take call at our local hospitals and follow-up up with patient care at our Mesa office.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is interested in podiatry and foot and ankle specialties.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters in Nursing Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners
- Current, unrestricted AZ State License: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Current National Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- A current, unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain with prescribing authority
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience preferred in the healthcare setting
- Wound Care preferred

- Provide direct patient care as defined by state licensure requirements. Ability to work without direct supervision
- Exercise patient care and medical decision-making autonomy within established clinical parameters under the direction of the DPM and will provide a broad range of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative services as defined within those clinical parameters
- Develops and implement treatment plans and monitors therapeutic efficacy of treatment plans
- Provides patient counseling, education and coordination of care as necessary
- Makes appropriate patient referrals to practice physicians/DPMs and other healthcare providers
- Performs other clinical duties as directed by collaborating physician(s)/DPM(s), primarily including hospital rounds (as sanctioned by the state board of nursing and the hospitals involved)
- Shares in taking weeknight, weekend and holiday call with other professionals in the practice
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of using an EMR System; must demonstrate proficient clinical documentation
- Able to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team
- Adaptable, quick learner, open to feedback, being coached and coaching others
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, frequent bending, stooping or stretching. Some lifting may be required
- Ability to work with professionals and maintain confidentiality standards
