Overview: 

The person in this position installs furniture products sold by the company in a safe and timely manner. OS Installers load and unload products for customer delivery, and drive company vehicles including 16’ and 24’ box trucks (manual transmission), and delivery vans. OS Installers accurately and efficiently complete paperwork and submit it for order updates. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Load, unload, install, and clean all furniture products at the direction of the supervisor or project manager.
• Be capable of independent work once directed.
• Be a training resource for rookie installers. 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist warehouse staff in unloading, locating, creating inventories, and pulling product for deliveries.
• Follow company procedures regarding driving, safety, and order paperwork processing.
• Assist with facility maintenance, office site maintenance, and housekeeping as required.

Position Requirements: 

• Valid driver’s license and valid insurance with a clean MVR - (Driving manual transmission vehicles required)
• Must be able to pass a background screening.
• Must possess tools to complete installation work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Working knowledge of all Steelcase system furniture products.
• Acceptable level of speed and accuracy in installation work. 
• Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background screening.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening (including marijuana).
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, professional appearance, and have excellent attendance.
• Computer skills a must
• Must be detail-oriented!

Peferred Traits:

• Experience with installation of Steelcase Systems furniture a plus

Hourly pay - $19.00 – 24.00/hr. depending on experience.
