OVERVIEW/SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Outpatient Program Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for managing the clinical programming for the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program located in Copper Sky. Responsibilities include program development, family programing, oversight of the outpatient therapists, integrative therapies and patient engagement.

This position also involves participation in Performance Improvement Team, coordination with residential treatment teams for continuing care and outpatient development projects. The Outpatient Program Manager will work with Quality and Risk management to ensure policy and regulation compliance for the outpatient program.

The Outpatient Program Manager will work collaboratively with medical providers, business office, integrative services, and patient safety staff to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes. The Outpatient Manager will work with all department directors to support and ensure cross training between departments, as well as supporting the leadership team in providing coverage for all areas. The Program Manager will ensure positive communication with referents, family members, and Treatment Placement Specialists. The Program Manager will be responsible for the creation and presentation of CEU events for the intensive outpatient program.

The Outpatient Manager works closely with the Admissions and Medical Departments. The Outpatient Program Manager will be an Administrator on Call. Outpatient Program Manager will be expected to attend all outpatient staff meetings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide psychotherapy services to patient as scheduled.

Conduct individual, group or family therapy sessions as appropriate for treatment plan of the patient.

Provide initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed and revise as necessary.

Maintain a caseload as assigned

Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient as appropriate to their treatment plan.

May provide case management, discharge planning or aftercare according to treatment plan.

May coordinate various clinical, psychosocial or educational activities with patients and their families.

Evaluate patients need and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.

May assist in the training of new clinical staff and interns.

May coordinate the activities of other clinical and direct patient car personnel, providing direction and clinical guidance.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other recognized therapeutic field from an accredited college or university.

Minimum of four plus years experience as a therapist with six or more years of experience with the specific population of the facility.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.

CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
