Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse

This Full-Time position will provide professional nursing care to patients pre and post-operatively including outpatient discharge. Duties will include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing support to pediatric and adult patients and their families. Other duties include observing the patients' progress, recording observations in patient medical records, and updating patient status directly to the attending physician when necessary. Critical thinking, the ability to work independently and the ability to prioritize responsibilities is essential to this role. BSN or ADN and MT state RN license is required. BLS is required upon hire. ACLS, and PALS are required within 6 months of hire. 1 year of prior RN experience is preferred. This position is represented by the Montana Nurses Association.
