Job Description:

Participates in patient care needs under the direction of the Emergency Department Physician and Registered Nurse. Responds under the supervision of the physician and registered nurse. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to assist nurses and physicians as requested on routine examinations and procedures. Demonstrates the ability to collect data and complete task with direction from the ED physicians and RNs. Prepares patients and patient records for discharge in accordance with all regulatory and agency guidelines while collaborating with the ED physicians and RNs. Assist the physicians and nursing staff with all tasks within their scope of practice in the ED.

Requirements:

Current/Active Florida Paramedic License

American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS certification

Technical School/2 years college/Associates Degree
