- Associate of Arts degree or paraprofessional certification required
- Must have OSHA 10 safety card within 45 days of hire
- Must be eligible to obtain district drivers license to be able to drive district vehicles
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)
- Prior experience working with Career and Technical Education students desired
- Must possess knowledge and experience in construction (masonry, electrical, framing, plumbing, roofing, etc.)
- Must have good speaking, reading and writing skills
- Must possess positive attitude toward students, teachers, staff and parents/guardians
- Bilingual communication is beneficial
- Knowledge of Google Suites
- Must possess basic computing and clerical skills
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to bend and reach
- Must be able to work machinery and equipment required for the program
- Must be able to drive, walk in large stores, lift and secure supplies in the vehicle
- Must be able to tolerate a classroom working environment
- Must be able to tolerate noise from equipment and classroom noise
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to flexible going between classroom tasks, student assistance, driving, errands and teacher requests

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | |
1. | Assists with learning activities within the construction classroom and lab |
2. | Monitors lab assignments given by the teacher |
3. | Maintains confidential classroom student files and records |
4. | Assists with inventory and accounting procedures of career and technical education |
5. | Assists with the implementation of instruction modifications per the Individualized Education Plan |
6. | Communicates with teachers regarding the students needs and progress |
7. | Assists teacher during field trips |
8. | Assists with student testing |
9. | Prepares materials for lab use |
10. | Maintains confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school |
11. | Provides a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents and community |
12. | Performs responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner |
13. | Performs other duties as assigned |
14. | Maintains punctual and regular attendance |
