As a Seasonal Park & Recreation Aide, you’ll play a hands-on role in creating memorable experiences for visitors – whether that’s helping families check in for camping, supporting fun recreational programs and events, or ensuring the park remains safe, welcoming and well-maintained.

Selected candidates will be hired at $20.00 per hour
Essential Duties:
Incumbents in this position may perform any of the following duties:
· General Store Operations: Support daily general store operations, including providing exceptional customer service.
· Boat Dock & Rentals: Coordinate boat rentals, manage boat dock operations, and ensure guests are equipped with proper gear and safety instructions.
· Camper Activities: Facilitate and support a variety of camper activities, including laser tag, sports, recreation programs, clubhouse activities and special events.
· Event Support: Assist in providing hands-on even support, improving the overall customer experience and traffic control during busy periods.
· Environmental Conservation: Support Santee Lakes preserve though regular lake shore clean up, habitat upkeep and general maintenance.
· Facilities Maintenance: Collaborate with the facilities team to perform routine park maintenance activities, keeping the park and campground clean and fully operational.
· Safety and Compliance: Monitor the park to ensure all guests are adhering to the listed rules and regulations, actively maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors and wildlife.

Knowledge, Skills, Training, Experience & Licensing:
· High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.); AND
· Six (6) months education and/or experience (either paid or voluntary) in guest relations and reservations; OR
· Experience working in an office setting with considerable customer contact and data entry experience.
