Reporting to the EVP, Strategic Development, the Partnership Development Associate will manage the full acquisition recruitment life cycle process by sourcing and identifying qualified companies for our various divisions: Valet Living Home, QuickTurns and Doorstep. The position will conduct interviews to evaluate qualifications, consult with the EVP, Strategic Development to influence and present potential acquisition companies, manage the selection process, obtain letter of intent and maintain the relationship between our organization and the new business to ensure a successful closing.

Essential Duties:

  • Advise and consult with EVP, Strategic Development in creation and execution of multi-channel strategies to identify and source companies for both current and future requirements across all lines of business
  • Employ strong business acumen to translate the needs of Valet Living into acquisition management solutions
  • Leverage external market data, vendors, sourcing channels and the latest technology available to quickly build and maintain acquisition pipelines
  • Initiate contact with potential acquisition companies with persuasiveness and maintain high touch, responsive, and lasting relationships through the acquisition life cycle
  • Thoroughly screen, qualify and prepare business owners ensuring a positive experience
  • Provide on-going follow up with business owners and our internal stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback on where
  • Discover challenges for potential clients and design solutions
  • Maintain a professional LinkedIn page as a means to connect and share information with business owners within our target market
  • Researching various market trends to educate business owners within specific industries on recent M&A activity and rationale for acquisitions
  • Identify the correct decision makers in an organization to assure communications remain confidential
  • Influence, build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve recruiting processes and use of sourcing tools
  • Send emails to potential clients to display proof of Valet Livings success and recent market activity
  • Set appointments between potential clients and our EVP, Strategic Development to discuss sales process and valuation
  • Maintain communication records and prepare reports of results
  • Meet or exceed all sales and performance goals

Qualifications:

  • Passionate for establishing strong relationships and guiding owners through the acquisition process to achieve strong outcomes
  • A high degree of comfort in communicating with mid to senior level executives
  • Outstanding database and internet research skills
  • Ability to effectively acquisition pipelines
  • Ability to influence leaders at all levels in an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and possess strong organization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) overseeing the full life cycle recruitment, selection, and negotiation techniques
  • Full cycle merger and acquisition experience

Compensation: $50,000 with high incentive potential.
