Job Summary: The Patient Registration Clerk interviews the patient/patient representative for complete and accurate patient and demographic and insurance information. Assures accurate information for the medical record, reimbursement and census statistics. Maintains positive customer service to ensure a positive impression of the hospital/department with internal and external customers. Insures a smooth patient flow and assigns patients to the appropriate accommodation while maintaining confidentiality at all times |
| Minimum Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. |
| Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of two years working in a hospital setting preferred |
