Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director of assigned nursing unit and the direct supervision of a Charge Nurse, the Patient Sitter provides a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for assigned patients.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A. High school graduate or equivalent.
B. Previous experience in hospital or nursing home patient care preferred.
C. Reference Steward Certification Grid for all required Certifications.
