Integrated Medical Services, Inc. is currently searching for a professional, organized, and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Payroll Specialist in our corporate office located in Northeast Phoenix. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing the entire payroll cycles of for the organization, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for hourly, salaried and productivity employees.
*After training, this role can be hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls; analyzes and audits payroll data for accuracy.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local government regulations as well as wage and hour laws.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transaction.
- Assists in development of overall payroll procedures by recommending improvements or policy changes when deemed necessary for greater efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in finance or payroll
- Experience in Paylocity and/or UKG preferred
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some college education or Bachelor's degree, preferred
