Payroll Specialist - Shasta Industries
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join in on the fun in our Accounting Division.

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for all various payroll tasks. This individual will assist in accounting tasks that could include processing a weekly payroll (from data entry, to running payroll, to check distribution) and verifying accuracy of figures and computations.
The Payroll Specialists key responsibilities will also include:
- Collect timecards for your departments and verify the calculation for all hours worked, overtime, sick time, vacation time, holiday, and bereavement
- Compile all data entry for your departments including any bonus, commission, and any other special pay input
- Set up garnishment, bankruptcy, child support or tax levies as required by law and follow through to ensure collection and payment to agencies
- Maintain all back up for audit and record keeping
- Any other duties and tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor
We are seeking someone with:
- 3-5 years of payroll experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Microsoft Office products experience
- Construction experience a plus
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment, meet deadlines and maintain accurate data entry skills
- Strong math skills
