The People and Culture Development Advisor is a strategic organizational development partner to Centura Health's leaders and HR Business Partners. The role of the Advisor is to design and implement systemic and strategic people and culture development solutions across Centura Health. The incumbent is responsible for activities including human performance and organizational assessment, executive coaching, intervention plan development, recommendation and execution, and communicating with key stakeholders about intervention effectiveness. In this role, the Advisor is responsible for integrating organizational and talent strategies with Centura Health's overall business strategy.

Applicants will have demonstrated experience and success designing and delivering effective, comprehensive organizational and talent development solutions germane to the talent life cycle (e. g. , attraction, onboarding, development, performance, succession, retention, engagement). Role success is depended on the ability to analyze, develop, and implement dynamic, pragmatic and systemic solutions with measurable results. This role is responsible for effective integration and partnership with an internal, multi-disciplinary people and culture team (People and Culture Development, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Analytics, Workforce Planning) and consulting with business, physician, clinical, and HR leaders to support the continuous development of Centura Health's workforce capabilities. The People and Culture Development Advisor is a member of the People and Culture Development team and reports to the Director of People and Culture Development.

Pay Range

$38.23 - $52.48/hr

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages organizational development (OD) projects including (but not limited to) entity / team effectiveness initiatives, leadership program course development and delivery, associate engagement, and executive coaching, provides direction and support to team members.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to design and execute change management activities; communicates plans and anticipated outcomes to support positive relationships.
  • Responds to requests for work (e.g., determines the appropriate intervention to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness and support strategic goals, and utilizes technology to document detailed plans, progress, and measurement).
  • Assesses needs, diagnoses problems, and determines the appropriate intervention to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness and support strategic goals.
  • Chooses appropriate metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of OD projects and reports and presents findings to key stakeholders and senior leaders. Uses information to adjust techniques for future engagements of similar nature and scope.
  • Provides coaching for multiple levels of management and leadership.
  • Facilitates strategic planning meetings for various levels of the leadership team and various business units. Tracks all service requests according to department standards and includes assigned projects in database.
  • Performs other related work as required.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

QualificationsRequired Minimum Education:

Master's degree required. Degrees preferably in Organizational Development, Psychology, Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.Certifications:

  • Certified in Hogan's Assessment Battery (HPI, HDS, MVPI) is preferred.
  • An ICF accredited coach certification is required. Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) designation is preferred.

Required Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience (with 5 years working in a healthcare environment) performing organizational development consulting duties (e.g., internal consulting and coaching, organizational development, and change management) and curriculum design and measurement.
  • Experience in a complex multi-site organization in an intermediate to large size organization (15,000 to 25,000 FTEs).

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Possesses strong knowledge of OD and adult learning theories, philosophies and methods.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of leadership competencies and techniques for developing competence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and theories.
  • General understanding of the core functions of human resources management and how OD solutions integrate.
  • Possesses strong knowledge and experience conducting organizational needs analysis and delivering systemic solutions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency for public speaking to a variety of leadership and associate audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency for coaching leaders at all levels.
  • Possesses experience in and passion for employee engagement.
  • Knowledgeable in designing systemic solutions aligned with and appropriate for entire workforce lifecycle.
  • Ability to understand and maneuver in the context of multiple cultures and organizational agendas.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate, mediate and present information to both small and large groups.
  • Possesses passion and experience in mentoring junior team members.
  • Knowledge of CRM and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
