> Responsible for assisting pharmacy administrative activities.
> Assists pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with non-technician duties.
> Receives and routes telephone calls, arranges shipment dates and assists in new referral packets and files.
> Creates progress notes based on patient contact
> Helps in warehouse as needed with receiving drug/medical supplies, stocking, picking, packing and shipping.
> Helps pharmacy team obtain labs, trach end of therapies and manage census by following proper discharge policy.
> Helps pharmacy team with scanning and faxing of orders, clinicals, orders and more.
> Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
> Minimum one year customer service experience.
> Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.
> Strong verbal and written communication skills.
> Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency and pay close attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
> Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
> Experience in home health and/or healthcare industry.
> Knowledge of medical terminology.
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
