Assist the Pharmacist in prioritizing prescription orders, and works closely with Pharmacist(s) in determining routine daily department needs. Performs prescription processing functions such as order interpretation, preparation, drug distribution, and quality assurance. Provides exemplary customer service and respect at all times during interactions with patients, customers, healthcare providers and other associates. The outpatient/retail pharmacy technician is responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and adhering to assigned work schedules. Provides direction and guidance to other technicians and pharmacy interns during their training in pharmacy drug distribution and operational matters whenrequested.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

Qualified external applicants eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus! Cannot be a current or recent Centura employee to qualify. Minimum of 1 year experience required.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• Prior retail or hospital outpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Attains professional growth by attending or participating in a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education annually required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License (Kansas), Certification (Colorado) or Provisional Certification (Colorado),Required. Provision Certificaitons must obtain State Certification within 12 months required.

Schedule- 10-hours shifts, variable days per week (mostly weekdays), occaisonal weekends and holidays

Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to10lbs force occasionally)
