POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under the supervision of the Lead Phlebotomist, the Phlebotomist/Lab Aide Certified performs quality routine and advanced venipuncture, capillary and urine collections and is able to instruct patients.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/License/Certification:
- Must have and maintain a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certificate.
- Must have and maintain BLS Certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience/Skills:
- Six (6) months certified phlebotomy experience preferred.
