Phlebotomist/Lab Clerk
Full Time Phlebotomy/Clerk position available at Sidney Health Center Laboratory. Responsibilities include performing blood draws on adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in outpatient, inpatient, clinic, and long-term care settings. This position also includes the handling of blood and body fluids, specimen processing, patient instruction on collecting samples, and order entry. Clerical duties include order processing, faxing, and answering phones. All aspects of the position require diligent attention to employee and patient safety. Customer service skills are a must, as are computer skills. High School Diploma is required, phlebotomy experience preferred, certification a plus, but will train.
