Obtains blood specimens from patient. Transports, receives, and distributes specimens to work station. Educates new employees on basic blood collection procedures. Provides safe practices for patients in all aspects of patient care activities.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate/GED.
- Completion of a Phlebotomy program.
- Proof of certification from a nationally recognized certifying agency REQUIRED: ASCP, NPA, etc
- BLS certification within 90 days of date-of-hire
