    Position Summary:

    The Physical Therapist develops, plans and implements appropriate therapeutic programs for the students in the district.

    Department: Special Education Services
    Reports to: Director of Special Education

    Training and Experience:
    • Two years experience working with neurological disorders, developmental disabilities and multiple disabilities preferred
    • Fundamental theory, principles, techniques and equipment used in physical rehabilitative therapy

    Licensing/Certification Requirements:
    • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arizona State Board of Physical therapy Examiners
    • If applicable, must obtain required certifications for being a MIPS provided and fulfill all MIPS reporting responsibilities

    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Salary Placement: Appropriate placement on the Instructional Support Salary Schedule [Please see OT/PT section]
