Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is an educational service company that provides an array of support services in the post-secondary education sector. Formerly part of Grand Canyon University (GCU), GCE still supports and works closely with GCU. GCE designs and develops educational programs for GCU and other traditional campus institutions, as well as online partner institutions at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
Join us at Grand Canyon Education in the Office of Field Experience division! We are looking for a motivated Placement Coordinator who will coordinate data, tasks, activities, workflow or processes for a specific purpose, department, or office. Communicating details and ensuring all parties are well informed of progress This position also offers remote work opportunities that may be approved for out-of-state candidates residing outside of Phoenix, AZ.
New hire training will encompass two full weeks of training. One week will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus and the following week will be held virtually via Zoom.

As a Placement Coordinator, a typical week might include the following :
Establish and maintain a database or filing system.
Gather data from various sources, compile or consolidate, post and update information to related software, databases, or systems.
Communicate details and ensure all parties are well informed of progress.
Answer inquiries concerning the status of various reports, documents, contracts, persons, or the information contained on records; interprets policies concerning the various records maintained.
Verify information contained in the systems for legitimate requests for such information.
The role might be right for you if you have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.
Prior administrative/office work experience.
An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and training/education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be substituted upon supervisors approval.
Ability to develop positive professional relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated and action oriented.
Proficient with standard office programs and systems.
Must be able to pass background investigations.
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
