POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, Maternal-Child & Perinatal Services and Clinical Manager, RN and the direct supervision of a Charge Nurse, the OB Technician is responsible for providing surgical scrub on minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual competencies and assisting in vaginal deliveries.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A. High school graduate or equivalent.

B. Certified as a Scrub Technician in Texas preferred.

C. Current CPR.

D. Previous experience in hospital or surgical setting preferred.
