Pool Repair Technician-Shasta Industries

We are looking for a Pool Repair Technician to join in on the fun in our Customer Care Department. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and be responsible to repair and replace swimming pool equipment products.

The Pool Repair Technician plays an integral role in providing professional and effective service to our customers regarding the repairs relating to heaters, filters, pumps, motors, cleaning systems, and swimming pool electrical systems. The Pool Repair Technician will consistently display friendly and compassionate customer service skills to effectively diagnose customer equipment needs and repairs.

The Pool Repair Technician will be responsible to:

  • Maintain communication with the office and schedulers to ensure timely repair and maintenance
  • Keep an accurate van inventory and daily maintenance of vehicle (check oil and fluid levels)
  • Complete standard paperwork processes accurately and on time
  • Maintain an acceptable personal appearance and strong customer focus
  • Have outstanding people skills and the ability to create astonishing results for our customers

We are seeking someone with:

  • Preferred experience in servicing pool motors, pumps, heaters, electronic controls, and salt chlorination systems. Hydraulic and electrical trouble-shooting skills are a plus.
  • An acceptable MVD license report and clean background check with no prior felony convictions, DWI's or current judgments required, as you will be operating a company van
  • Be willing to work overtime during our busy season or when necessary
  • Must speak and write professionally using proper grammar and spelling
  • Must be customer-focused and able to provide excellent customer service
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment
  • Motivated, self-starter, quick learner, with excellent follow-up skills
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to effectively use resources to complete tasks and resolve issues.
