Overview

Join our team of talented healthcare professionals! CompleteRx has an opening for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to help provide exceptional patient care at our 60 bed acute care hospital located in Manitowoc, WI. This is an immediate position to fulfill.

$1,000 BONUS ($500 hiring bonus and $500 after 6 months of employment)

Hospital Overview:

Holy Family Memorial Hospital is a short term acute care non-profit hospital. Services include an inpatient and outpatient medical center, specialty and walk-in care, over 15 clinics, a retail pharmacy and a rehab facility.

Work Schedule:

Pharmacy hours: 6am - 7pm weekdays; 7am - 5:30pm weekends and holidays.

  • 4 available shifts. Schedule will rotate thru these hours (usually 8-hours shift).
  • Usually work every 3rd weekend.

What You Will Do

  • Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders
  • Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts and floor stock accurately
  • Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately
  • Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately
  • Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date
  • Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds
  • Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately
  • Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs

What You Will Need


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completed Pharmacy Technician program/certification preferred but not required
  • One year plus hospital experience preferred but not required
  • Courteous, professional service to patients, visitors and staff
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
