Overview

Morsco/Reece is looking for a Product Owner to join our growing Digital Products team, working in partnership with business owners and IT to deliver web and mobile experiences. As a member of the product team, you will focus work with the development team in an agile environment to represent the business throughout product development. This individual will play a critical role in building and shaping our digital landscape. Be ready for 12 weeks of field training!

Key Responsibilities

  • Product owner for our fast-growing e-commerce platform, as a member of an agile development team

  • Own the e-commerce product roadmap, goal setting, story writing, and project execution

  • Partner with business owners to ensure roadmap aligns with business objectives

  • Partner with broader digital and marketing team to identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize product features

  • Strategically evolve and grow existing products and services to constantly deliver a better customer experience

  • Take ownership for the success of the product and the product team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, prior experience in a product development or ownership role would be a plus

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field

  • Experience working with JIRA, as part of an agile team is strongly desired

  • Ability to balance business and IT requirements

  • Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Dedicated self-starter with a start-up mindset, constantly looking to optimize and problem solve

  • The successful candidate will have a strong handle on the technical side of the house while still understanding the business side
