Product Owner, Transparency - Business Project Program Manager

As a Product Owner of Transparency, you will join the Interoperability and Transparency Project Management Office (PMO) working on Transparency in Coverage regulations that will be implemented in a multi-year program and act as primary liaison to Interoperability PMO. The position is responsible program execution and leading the implementation of functionality and capabilities in support of Transparency in Coverage rules and technical standards. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment to implement product vision and product development with a clear focus on regulatory, customer and end-user needs. As part of the Interoperability and Transparency team, you will work collaboratively with IT, Architecture, Legal and the PMO to deliver technology to comply with the regulations. The Product Owner of Transparency is essential to ensuring the development teams need for product direction and a core component of the position is understanding the detail of the regulations. Length of project may run multiple years in duration.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Oversees product development stages and evaluates product process at each iteration by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization
- Responsible for development and implementation of new ideas that supports work and team
- Manage the product backlog and document stories, objectives and features
- Drive IT prioritization
- Coordinate with Program UAT Lead to complete testing
- Partner and collaborate with other functional managers, business areas across and within business segments to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed
- Influence change in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness, systems, quality and/or services
- Prepare and participate in Program Increment Planning (PI) by collaborating with IT and Architects
- Assist others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact program and/or project plan
This role is a work from home/remote position and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Required Qualifications
- 8 years or more of Product Owner experience in an Agile environment
- At least 8 years or more of project management experience
- Minimum 8 years of Healthcare experience (on the payor) side
Preferred Qualifications
- Product Owner experience related to standards and measurements, technology, systems and processes, including project consultation
- Claim, Provider, Network and Pricing knowledge is preferred
- SAFe agile experience
- Project Management Certification (PMP)
- Experience in process mapping and discovery activities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Certified Product Owner is a plus

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is required
