DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Production Associate
• Location: Southwest Houston
• Pay: Up to $18 per hour
• Hours: 6:45am to 3:15pm
• Duration: Temp-to-Hire
• Description of Duties: Company in the Southwest Houston area is looking for a Production Associate to join their team. Daily job duties include: Read instructions such as BOM, traveler, assembly drawings and work instructions to determine materials needed and specific requirements of each assembly. Ensure quality IPC class 2 solder joints including cleaning of residual flux from the joint. Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, and labeling and ink jetting assemblies.
• Requirements: SN 63 or SN 96 would be a huge plus. 3+ years experience in mechanical assembly and soldering basics. Able to lift up to 45 pounds. Experienced with mechanical assembly techniques, using common hand tool such as drivers, drill, cutters, and strippers. Experienced with hand soldering using both low temperature and high temperature solder. Basic knowledge of testing equipment; i.e. voltmeter, ohmmeter, load testing, continuity testing, spectrum analyzer and Arbin tester.
