Production Operator - Jeffersonville and Louisville locations

Vericast is now hiring Digital Printer Production Operators at our Louisville and Jeffersonville locations.

The pay for this position ranges from $17–$20/hr plus $1.75/hr shift differential pay for 2nd & 3rd shift positions. There's also a potential performance salary increase after 90 days.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• PC experience

• Experience with Windows-based programs

Responsibilities:

• Create host jobs, process job tickets, sort work by equipment, and prioritize job tickets for maximum efficiency.

• Release jobs from the manufacturing system to the machine.

• Gather and load stock necessary for the completion of jobs.

• Produce documents using equipment/machine and perform quality inspection of all work processed.

• Be responsible for all system reports and quality inspection forms deemed pertinent to the operation.

• Perform minor maintenance functions.

Skills:

• Good organizational, communication, and time management skills. 

• Must have a strong work ethic while being production and quality-conscious.

• Jointly responsible for whole work processes, performing multiple tasks, and setting staffing plans and production goals for the current day with other team members. 

• Provide information to other team members during shift overlap to improve overall plant performance.
