Job Description
Diversified Sourcing Solutions are seeking a Team Leader Production to join our team in Tarrant, AL! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees opening and closing of each shift.
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Monitors employee work habits and makes sure tasks are completed in a timely fashion
- Keeps work area clean and organized.
- Responds quickly and practically to emergencies, crises, or unexpected problems during the shift.
- Keeps supervisor and upper level management apprised of daily operations.
- Assist in training new employees.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well with a team
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Maintains professional but friendly demeanor.
- Possesses physical strength necessary to move and stock merchandise or products in stores and warehouses.
- Demonstrates familiarity with basic computer programs, such as Word and Excel..
- Manages time effectively and efficiently.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Responds calmly and professionally to emergencies, co-workers etc...
- Demonstrates ability to multitask on a daily basis.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Management experience or Bachelors Degree in Management is preferred.
Job training required prior to start date
Shift:
(1st) - 7am - 3pm (2nd) 3pm - 11pm (3rd) 11pm - 7am
Pay Rate: $16-$17/hour
