Job Description
Diversified Sourcing Solutions is excited to add to our growing team in the Bessemer area. We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our department. Duties
Oversees production operations on assigned shift.
Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
Ensures that products are identified/tagged and warehoused correctly.
Troubleshoots issues that arise.
Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.
Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and
procedures.
Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among
departments.
Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data.
Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects.
Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or
skills.
Correct order mistakes/remakes and ensure that it is moved quickly through production.
Skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies.
Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost
management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
Must have- Management experience in a glass fabrication facility
Want to have- 5 or more years of production management experience

$65,000 SALARY
