Pure Grips, a manufacturer of professional golf grips is looking for a Production Specialist to support all areas of production, specifically in Press Operations. If this sounds like your game, read on! 

We are looking for individuals to work the following shifts:

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 11:00pm & Fridays 11:00am - 5:00pm. (first month of training will be during 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 2:30pm & Fridays 5:30am - 11:30am)

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Work in a variety of production areas, including; press operation, paint, wiping, QC, and shipping.
  • Prepare items for shipment including, assembling, collecting, packaging, weighing, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.
  • Arrange for the transportation of products with freight carriers.
  • Receive deliveries, unpacking, verifying, recording and moving incoming merchandise or material into inventory.
  • Assure orders are prepared accurately for delivery in a timely manner.  
  • Perform regular cycle counts and is responsible for inventory control and accuracy.
  • Maintain relations/communications with shipping platforms (ex: UPS, FedEx, USPS, and ShipRush).
  • Receive all inbound deliveries.
  • Assist in organizing production flow, when needed.
  • Cover breaks and lunch for Press Operators when/if required.
  • Perform duties in paint department, including; preparing paint and equipment prior to application, mixing paint, clean spray equipment, inspect work to insure high quality paint finishes.
  • Assist shipping department in preparing orders for timely delivery by pulling materials, packing boxes, and staging orders.
  • Discuss inspection results with supervisors and/or fellow team members and recommend necessary corrective actions.
  • Discard and/or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting product standard specifications.
  • Consult with Supervisor/s regarding quality issues not meeting standards and/or potential safety issues.
  • Ensure neat work environment by cleaning work areas and discarding materials in the proper manner.
  • Report performance and any product flaws verbally and manually daily
  • Comply with all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Perform additional warehouse-related duties as required.


 

 Job Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, distribution, warehouse or similar industry
  • 1 or more years experience with shipping and receiving international orders preferred
  • Knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures for shipping carriers (i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS)
  • International shipping experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite products, and inventory management software preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Basic math & computer skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to carry up to 25 lbs. on a regular and repetitive basis
  • Forklift certification a plus

Education requirements
