Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Serves as a key participant with senior leadership and faculty in the implementation of the medical school curriculum.
  • In cooperation with the senior leadership, create course calendar, oversee posting of course calendar, monitor calendar and timelines for CHAMP and Canvas for assigned Scientific Principles of Medicine Year 1 Course.
  • Scheduling of rooms appropriate for scheduled educational activities (e.g., lecture halls, small group rooms, labs, etc.) as requested by faculty.
  • Managing all entries to the learning management system and assuring that entries are current, accurate, and consistent with agreed upon format and styles. Entries include but are not limited to: course calendar/schedule, room assignments, Power Point presentations, reading assignments, course objectives, video files and web links etc.
  • Serve as liaison between the Department of Medical Education and course directors and faculty and also with staff supporting CHAMP in the IT department.
  • Responsible for obtaining final semester grades and enter them onto Banner by established deadlines. Employee will be expected to follow FERPA and HIPPA standards of confidentiality.
  • As requested generate reports documenting curriculum implementation, (aggregate and individual), and evaluation results.
  • Participate in exam proctoring as a regular member of the 'proctor pool' as assigned.
  • Validate and/or create Pre-Clerkship courses during roll-over period within Banner system for upcoming school year.
  • Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to: formatting data, running and binding reports, etc.
