  • Director of Adult Addictions Receiving Services

The Program Director is a highly skilled professional position responsible for providing administrative oversight and coordination for Adult Addictions Receiving Services, which include Inpatient, Outpatient Detox and Medications Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs. This position provides leadership, direction, and supervision of personnel assigned to a recovery-based treatment unit. This position is accountable for the coordination and compliance of service delivery, contracts, budgets and other administrative services.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Oversight of a medically and clinically integrated program, providing acute care detoxification and stabilization services for individuals with current and significant substance impairment.
  • Knowledge and experience of detoxification, recovery support services, assessment and/or other counseling, medication assisted treatment (MAT) and treatment services.
  • Develops and ensures implementation of policies and procedures to ensure efficient program operation.
  • Knowledge and experience of Florida Statue 397, Marchman ACT and the Department of Children and Families (DCF), 65D-30 Standards.
  • Routinely coordinates with community partners, stakeholders and for effective service delivery.
  • Ensures contractual performance outcomes are satisfied for assigned program(s).
  • Develops a program culture consistent with mission and values of organization.
  • Participates in recruitment, selection and onboarding of personnel.
  • Implements performance management activities to support employee development, engagement and disciplinary action, if needed.
  • Implements or supports various change management activities (e.g., communications, education, team development, coaching) consistent with business' mission.
  • Prepares internal reports related to service delivery, budgeting, health/safety, on-the-job-injuries and other reportable incidents.
  • Knowledgeable and trained in crisis intervention
  • Participates in regular quality and process improvement meetings with other directors, administrators and senior leadership; participates on external committees, as required.
Ability to be flexible as working hours may include evenings and weekends

Pre-requisite Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in human or social services and three (3) years of professional experience working in human or social services.
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in human or social services can substitute for one (1) year of the required work experience.
  • Valid Florida Driver License.
