This will be a full-time telework role, however, may require some office-based work and up to 10% travel once COVID restrictions are lifted.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, standard business hours, with occasional flexibility required for evening and weekend work, as needed.

Summary/Position Objectives:

The Childrens System of Care Coordinator provides resources and supports to assist with special projects that are directed towards meeting the needs of children with serious emotional disturbance and their families who are being served through the Childrens System of Care (CSOC). The System of Care Coordinator support behavioral health service providers and other stakeholders through technical assistance and support at all levels, including at the Child and Family Team (CFT) level. This position will support implementation of evidence-based practices and family-driven, youth-guided care to keep children at home, in school, and out of the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.

Responsibilities include:
* Provide technical assistance to providers to overcome barriers and to promote practice according to the Arizona Vision.
* May attend CFT meetings and utilize the delivery approach that is strength-based and responsive to childrens and families individual needs and unique culture, and that achieves positive clinical outcomes.
* Respond to requests from system partners, including Department of Child Safety (DCS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Juvenile Probation (JPO), Arizona Department for Juvenile Corrections (ADJC), Schools, and other community stakeholders for information and assistance in resolving case-specific challenges related to coordination of care and behavioral health service delivery.
* Support all Mercy Maricopa internal departments and functions, such as Member Services, Quality Management/ Quality Improvement and Medical Management, in following up with providers that may benefit from technical assistance in order to assist meeting the needs of childrens and families.
* Support the training department in developing and implementing training related to childrens services and the CSOC.
* Promote clinically sound, appropriate use of community-based services and formal and informal supports to reduce out-of-home interventions.
* Tracks reports and progress of required data elements for special projects.
* Provide consultation to provider agencies and systems to assure adherence to requirements including member record reviews, staff and client interviews.

Required Qualifications
* 2+ years of related work experience in the behavioral health field with significant contact and experience with youth and families.
* Familiarity with the Child and Family Team process and Arizona Vision.
* Knowledge of Department of Child Safety
* Must reside in AZ

Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ year(s) of experience with Department of Child Safety
* Candidates located in Maricopa county preferred.

Education
* Bachelors degree in behavioral health related field required.
* Masters degree preferred.
