Position Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects and specialized functions within the Commercial Product Management (CPM) department. The position will use creativity, collaboration, process design skills, and problem solving abilities to support the Commercial Product Management team with delivery of new and enhanced products and services, with a focus on the units most complex and intricate projects, and projects that involve multiple product managers. The Project Manager will also develop and manage a process to survey, market to and educate Bank employees and external clients. The position will interface with various internal departments including Bank Operations, Commercial Services, Compliance, Treasury Management Sales, Business/Commercial relationship management staff, and Retail Banking Center personnel.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide project management support to for new CPM product implementations including managing the Product Service Change Control process, project working group meetings, and coordination with other departments
  • Coordinate the annual product pricing review process
  • Manage product promotions, including partnering with Marketing to deliver customer communications, and monitor and report results
  • Partner with CPM team and Marketing to develop and maintain ongoing customer educational and promotional communications
  • Partner with CPM team to create and maintain product-related forms, documents and guides
  • Collaborate with TM Implementations team to ensure proper use of documentation
  • Assist Commercial Product Manager of Deposits to manage exception pricing
  • Develop and manage internal communication such as the Commercial Product Management Update, Retail Product Management Update and recorded or live webinars/videos for educational purposes
  • Develop and manage customer surveys and/or focus groups to solicit feedback on customer service, ease of implementation and use of products, and current and future Bank offerings
  • Identify opportunities for automation and coordinate with Robotics Process Automation (RPA) team to implement solutions
  • Manage the departments workflow, recommending and designing processes as necessary to solve problems or optimize efficiency
  • Manage the implementation and optimization of project management processes and software solutions
  • Manage other projects or functions as required

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent experience required. Minimum three years experience related to bank deposit products and Treasury Management services, including exposure to sales, customer service support, and bank operations functions and systems is preferred.
  • Advanced organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills are required.
  • Product management and/or project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Bank marketing and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Strong personal computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are necessary.
  • Superior verbal and written communication abilities and presentation skills are essential.
  • Detail oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ability to work independently without supervision required.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to perform essential job responsibilities.
