Job Description
The Project Manager will work closely with members of the project team and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and engagement of the various team members and the work they are doing. The primary tasks involve the close and cooperative collaborations that expand and assess the impact of the educational program created by members of the Institute and their partners. The Project Manager will use this knowledge to become involved in and contribute to the many different aspects of the project and will be expected to help coordinate, document, and organize the various efforts involved.
This work will involve planning, communicating, liaising, organizing, coordinating, and executing project activities to ensure the timely and successful completion of project goals.
Salary Range
$55,510 - $85,400 per year, DOE

Essential Duties
- Collaborate with ASU Harmony Institute team members and partners to facilitate project activities
- Serve as liaison with partner networks around the Harmony Program
- Contribute to planning, creation, implementation, and monitoring of activities related to the use and effectiveness of the program and its ancillary products
- Facilitate the engagement of children, families, and schools in project activities
- Prepare educational materials related to social and emotional learning
- Assist with information management and communication
- Document timelines, progress, and outcomes of project activities
- Attend project meetings
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Establish good communication with Harmony Institute faculty, staff, students, partners, and community members
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience; 1 of which are in project management, or any equivalent combination of experience and /or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on child developmental or family-related projects preferred.
- Expertise in educational programming and curricular development
- Preference for Master’s degree in any area related to education or child development
- Expertise children’s social and emotional learning (SEL).
- Ability to contribute to both creative and technical elements of project activities.
- Experience liaising with diverse team members at ASU and across the US, ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations and teams.
- Capability to manage large-scale projects effectively.
Working Environment
- Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of being in a stationary position.
- Constantly detects and operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Ability to clearly communicate and exchange accurate information to perform essential duties.
- Expected to be responsive to customers, engaged in work production, resourceful, flexible, and respectful of others.
