If you are interested and have the required skills (if applicable), please sign up or see Cindy in HR and this will be reviewed.Please note this is a key position which requires you to be held to a higher standard with attendance, accuracy and the ability to be a strong team player.Position: Purchasing AgentQualifications or Skills Required:This position works with the internal departments to source needs and procure materials from vendors in the most efficient, cost effective manner.Responsibilities:Manage purchase requestsUnderstand inventory levels and requirementsCreate purchase ordersReorder and purchase items needed for replenishmentMaintain updated product/vendor information including vendor pricingAct as a liaison between company and vendors, establishing ongoing relationshipsWork with suppliers to resolve delivery, cost and quantity issuesEnsures products needed to keep operations moving are available; on-handQualifications:Proficient in all MS office programsClear communication skills - verbal and writtenExcellent Follow up skillsForward thinking - problem solving
