Formerly part of Grand Canyon University (GCU), GCE still supports and works closely with GCU. GCE designs and develops educational programs for GCU and other traditional campus institutions, as well as online partner institutions at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.

Grand Canyon Education is currently seeking a talented, energetic Qualifying Specialist for our enrollment team based at our Phoenix, AZ location. As a Qualifying Specialist, you are the first point of contact for prospective student inquiries regarding their interest in achieving a college education.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to prospective new student inquiries via outbound phone calls.

  • Discuss prospective students background, goals, and objectives to determine fit with GCUs academic programs.

  • Forward qualified student inquiries to enrollment counselor depending on the area of interest.

  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills during all transactions.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for assisting others in realizing their goals through higher education

  • High level of integrity and commitment to compliance with regulatory rules.

  • Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to toggle between multiple software programs.

  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Starting Salary: $35,000 a year
