Quality Control Coordinator
Department: QC
Location: Gilbert, AZ

* $17 -$19 an Hour*

Executive Summary of Position:

Act as support for QC Manager and auditors by performing clerical duties pertaining to internal and external audits.

Essential Duties:

  • Run daily reports to maintain constant level of files available for pre-funding audits.
  • Scrub reports daily to help maintain the flow of operations.
  • Upload data daily and documents as needed to QC software program.
  • Work with other vendors providing documentation as requested.
  • Accurately report Early Payment Default results monthly to Executive Management
  • Monthly Monitor and update MERs
  • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with branch personnel when necessary.

Other Duties:

  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Report any potential or actual violations of such policies, practices and procedures to Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree is required.
  • 1 - 2+ years of recent residential mortgage experience in either a Processing, Closing, or Disclosure Specialist role
  • Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing and spreadsheets required.
  • Ability to use a calculator, 10-key adding machine or equivalent is required.
  • Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and positively to coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as requested by Management.
  • Ability to use independent judgment to achieve assigned objectives and goals while operating within corporate and departmental policy guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
