Key Purpose

The Quality Manager Custodial Services is responsible for the day-to-day janitorial functions, and employees, in an aviation environment. The Quality Manager Custodial Services may need to perform janitorial tasks in addition to supervisory duties.

The Quality Manager Custodial Services must work successfully with fellow employees and all levels of the organization and maintain the highest level of quality standards. She/He/They must be able to understand and explain instructions on how to complete a task using basic communication.

Ideal Candidate Experience

• 3+ years of commercial janitorial experience
• Strong computer skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays if needed
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)

Key Accountabilities

• To manage, train, supervise and motivate janitorial staff, ensuring their development
• To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, in line with legislation
• To monitor the appearance of the premises, ensure it is kept clean, tidy, well organized, fully stocked and fully staffed
• To order any supplies needed for housekeeping
• To deal with complaints or difficult situations in an efficient and professional manner
• Directs completion of assigned tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints
• Enforces work standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements
• To be able to work efficiently with professionalism at all times and maintain high standards
• Optimizes planning, operations, training and resources to ensure maximum capability is attained

The annual salary range for this position is $74000 per year - $80000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
