Job Description
Essential Duties:
- Serve as Management Representative for Moderns AS9100/ISO-9001 registration: primary focal for surveillance/recertification audits and subject matter expert
- Lead compliance to ISO-9001 and AS9100
- Own and manage internal audit
- Review/revise Quality Manual and QCI specifications
- Serve as Lead Auditor for customer Quality audits
- Team member / resource for NADCAP audits & on-going compliance
- Serve as resource for RCCA investigations
- Maintain and report quality metrics (monthly)
- Serve as a standing member of the Company Safety Committee as well as a key resource to the Safety Committee
- Train internal auditors
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Certified Lead Auditor (nationally accredited certification body only)
- ASQ certified QE
- Management Representative experience
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO-9001 standards and compliance
- Demonstrated competence in several RCCA methodologies: 8D preferred
Education and Experience:
- Experience in commercial/military aerospace industry
- Experience in semiconductor (equipment) industry
- Experience in a metals manufacturing environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams within the framework of a virtual organization
- Minimum AA degree, BS/BA preferred (technical discipline)
